  1. It’s a pity that many people thought that this product is a mobile phone while it’s not. This product can be good in technologically advanced countries. For instance, it is a waste in NIGERIA. It’s just lying down here in my house due to lack of facilities to use it.

I advise that you make intending buyers know the countries this product can work.

I have been a big fan of the Palm OS for many years. I am saddened by its apparent departure from the marketplace. However, that departure is not complete, and some companies are attempting to keep this base of users going. Check out a company called ACCESS, which purchased the Palm OS from Palm some time ago, and which developed the latest Palm OS – Garnet. Well, they’re promoting a beta version of Garnet on the Nokia N series. Check it out. [...]

By the way, I have no connection with ACCESS. Also, I don’t have a Nokia N series device – still using a Treo, because it provides phone functionality. But I’m looking down the road, because it appears clear that the Treo is not the device of the future. Hope this helps.

I researched many internet tablets including Touch and decided on this due to its OS, storage expandability, and web browsing capabilites. And boy I was NOT

disappointed. The update to it using instructions from the Nokia site was simple and seemless. The apps downloads easy. Connecting to my home WLAN easy. I can’t say enough about this product. It’s awesome. My only regret is I didn’t buy it sooner!

it has a real browser that can play embedded flash videos. it can run skype/gizmo but I’ve yet to figure out how to enable video if it’s even possible. it can run debian linux which includes open office which allows you to view/edit office documents. it’s a perfect alternative to netbooks since it’s lighter and uses less power.

SD cards won’t fit. you need a mini SD or a mini SD adapter for micro SD. so far it can read a 4G micro SD which can upload 4 full-length 3gp/mp4 movies or 1000s of audio books/mp3s. it’s a perfect companion if you’re in a 10 hour flight with 4 hour stop overs. this tablet rocks. nokia rules!

The Nokia N810 is a great device for browsing the web, Listening to music, or sending emails. The screen is large and high quality. It even has a gps. The ipod touch can’t do halve of the stuff the N810 can do. I would really recommend this device over the ipod touch.
